Two Inmates charged for the attempted murder of two correction officers in South Dakota

Once again these were obviously very, very bad correctional officers. I'm sure they were very abusive and for the inmates to have attacked them and tried to kill them understanding the consequences they must have been horrible people hopefully this send a message to other bad correction officers that if they treat inmates in inhumane Ways sometimes they pay the penalty. I feel worse that the inmates are going to have increased time added to their sentences. This is a failure of the South Dakota department of corrections for a lack of security, as well as a failure of the South Dakota department of corrections to hire staff. That is not abusive inmates. Don't deserve to be abused on a daily basis, and they are not getting justice from the courts so they are forced to take justice into their own hands just to survive. Hopefully both of these correction officers retire without benefits and stop abusing inmates.
